samuel rossi, an old art school friend of edward gains, is a reclusive fellow now living in deepest darkest gore, in the south island of new zealand... his home is situated on a cliff top... he sleeps most of the day... he then wakes at about 2pm... he draws... he paints... he goes for long walks in the bush with his dog, dracula... he comes home and drinks beer and smokes some drugs... then he starts making noises on his computer... ‘electronic nails in an electronic coffin’, is rossi’s first proper album to date, although he has hundreds of hours of electronic noise backed up on disc... rossi decided to make ‘electronic nails in an electronic coffin’, with the only rule being that no song should take more than 2 hours to produce... while rossi is no stranger to electronic noise, this album is probably the most “commercial” recording that rossi may ever make... the follow up promises to be hours of intense white noise... not a musician, but an artist who makes sounds, samuel rossi is destined to live on the outside of everything...
